God in my living
There in my breathing
God in my waking
God in my sleeping
God in my resting
There in my working
God in my thinking
God in my speaking
Be my everything, be my everything
Be my everything, be my everything
God in my hoping
There in my dreaming
God in my watching
God in my waiting
God in my laughing
There in my weeping
God in my hurting
God in my healing
Be my everything, be my everything
Be my everything, be my everything
Christ in me, Christ in me
Christ in me, the hope of glory
You are everything.
Christ in me, Christ in me
Christ in me the hope of glory
Be my everything
You are everything, You are everything
You are everything, You are everything!
God, the all-sufficient, omniscient One who is familiar with all my ways.
God, the provider, the protector of body and soul, who knows each and every struggle.
I was freshly reminded of that today. During practice, when we were rehearsing the last two verse parts of that song, I was struck by God's sovereignty in everything...my laughing, my weeping, my watching, my waiting...my waiting especially. That's been a tough one lately. Waiting for anything. Waiting for decisions on summer plans (whether or not I will spend a significant time outside of the country...yeah, that decision takes some time...), waiting on God to work in the hearts of those I'm praying for...and of course, the ultimate waiting for those in the single season right now. It was good to be reminded that I have a loving God who has good plans for me...better plans than I could make! That's such an amazing thought. This God has my good and His glory (which is ultimately for my good anyways) on His heart. I don't deserve such favor and kindness...but I have it. Freely. I had to pay nothing for it. Christ paid His life for it, and I benefit from it. That's a mind-blowing thought. But it's a joyful mind-blowing thought.
Oh God of love I come to You again
Knowing I'll find mercy.
I can't explain all the things I see
But I trust in You!
In every moment You are there
Watching over, You hear my prayer
You go before me, You're behind me
Nothing's hidden from You...
How good it is to be loved by You
How good it is!
How good it is to be loved by You
How good it is!
Who can stand against us?
In my weakness You are strong
You're word is everlasting
I will praise You faithful one!
How good it is to be loved by You!

manda, i REALLY enjoyed worship yesterday. it was very obviously Spirit-led and that was so encouraging! plus, the lyrics to the soverign grace songs are SO powerful.
+ i was wondering if you have the lyrics to one of the other songs you did. the one about being stripped of everything. i don't know what it's called.
Those songs were SO great! I love the lyrics of both these songs, and the feel to How Good It Is is so like Marianne! haha thats exactly what Rich said he wanted it to sound like.
i found it. (: come over tonight for LOST. =P
